Cambridge Assessment Write and Improve is a free online tool for A2, B1 and B2 English writing.
The main stages of the session would be:
1 Discussion of advantages / limitations of correcting extending writing online.
2 Presentation of the Cambridge Assessment Write and Improve online – useful as a tool for first drafts of extended writing.
3 Exploration of task types available at A2, B1 and B2 levels.
4 Setting the standard – input of text.
5 Looking at feedback given.
6 Input of own texts.
7 Plenary.
Suitable for secondary teachers of English as a Foreign Language, A2, B1 level and upwards. Teachers do not have to be preparing students for Cambridge Examinations.
