During this session you will learn how to effectively implement the essential elements and steps of a writing workshop minilesson. Examples and explanations will include visual strategies and tools. Video examples of teaching and learning in action will be shared and analyzed. We will walk through lesson planning and pacing and discuss how to adapt these to a bilingual classroom in which English is the language of instruction for a reduced amount of the students’ learning journey. No previous experience with writing workshop required!
